The living containers and container school project, produced for use in the Ahbap Association’s relief efforts, was carried out to meet shelter and education needs quickly and safely. The project included both containers to be used as living quarters and modules combined to form a school campus.

The containers were built with white insulated sandwich panels on an anthracite steel chassis. PVC-framed windows, a steel entrance door, an exterior light fixture and the electrical wiring were all completed at the factory for each module, so only placement and connections had to be done on site.

The factory-finished modules were shipped to the site by truck and placed on prepared ground in side-by-side rows facing each other. This arrangement created a tidy school campus with a large courtyard in the middle that students can use safely.

As Alyans Prefabrik, we quickly completed every stage of this socially beneficial project, from production and shipping to installation. The Ahbap Living Containers and Container School project is a concrete example of how quickly and effectively container buildings can respond to urgent needs.
