The container dormitory built as part of the TOKİ project in Balıkesir is one of Alyans Prefabrik’s accommodation solutions for mass housing construction sites. It was designed so that workers on the site could stay in a safe and comfortable environment.

The building was configured as a long block created by joining container modules on three floors. Light-colored panel facades and dark steel frames give the building an orderly look, while the pitched metal roof on top protects the modules from the elements.

A multi-story external steel staircase with landings at the block entrance provides independent, safe access to each floor. Windows and air conditioning units in the rooms ensure year-round comfort, while the modular plan made it possible to set the capacity according to the site’s needs.

Production, shipping and assembly were carried out in line with Alyans Prefabrik’s integrated project approach. Installed and put into use in a short time, the Balıkesir TOKİ container dormitory is a successful example of fast, cost-effective accommodation for mass housing construction sites.
